Cafe De Bazel

Café De Bazel, designed by the well known Dutch architects Claus and Kaan, is situated in the main hall. It has a lively and modern atmosphere, while enjoying your coffee you have a great view into the stunning hall with its black and green Venetian glass tiles floor and the beautiful white pillars which support the glass roof. The hall with its strong, dynamic look resembles the hall of the Larkin building designed in 1904 by the famous American architect Frank Lloyd Wright. There is a difference though, architect Karel de Bazel created more space by varying the distance between the individual pillars and by letting the second floor merge into the centre of the hall.

Café de Bazel has 60 seats and is open to the public on Monday to Friday from 10.00 till 17.00, Saturday from 10:00 till 17:00 and on Sunday from 11.00 till 17.00. The lunch menu is unique with many exciting dishes. We also serve delicious homemade sweets. You are welcome for lunch, a snack or just for a drink. We serve coffee, a selection teas, fresh fruit juices, local beers and wine.
